About me

My name is Jonathan Redfern, I’m a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design with an Honors Bachelors degree in fashion and design and The University of Limerick with a Masters degree in Creative digital media. I’m patient, hardworking and passionate about design in all its forms. I’d be described by peers as creative with a dynamic and unique approach to design and an ability to combine its different processes and techniques into any project. During my four years at Limerick School of Art and Design, I gained a complete understanding of the full process of design, from initial concept, trend and customer research, sourcing, right through to execution and construction. My experience within the industry, helped me apply my skills and I gained many of the skills required to work within an international team effectively and harmoniously, helping with communication between design and construction in a high pressured environment. Additionally, I’ve amassed a great amount of knowledge of creative technology including the Adobe suite, UI/UX design, HTML, 3D printing etc. I pride myself in putting customer experience above all else because its essential to any brand to communicate designs and ideas to customers of any background. A link to my online portfolio and self-designed website can be located below. I hope to find an engaging, diverse and fulfilling job that will help me build an interesting career with a contemporary company would be amazing.
