I solve problems. Not serious ones like fixing defibrilators or raising the Titanic. I solve creative problems for advertising agencies, design agencies, PR companies, marketing agencies and direct clients.
They call on me for words, ideas, words with ideas and Ideas that rely on words.
I'm just as happy cracking an integrated campaign as editing a 100-page website, crafting a strap line or overseeing a corporate re-brand.

I'm a Senior Freelance Copywriter. I work with pen and paper, on a Mac, independently, in a creative team, remotely, in-house and hard.
How do I charge?
By the word – NEVER.
By the hour – unless you retain my services – NO.
By the day – SOMETIMES.
By the project – MOSTLY.
How much do I charge?
My day rate depends on the type of project, whether it's for an agency or direct client and where I work. Generally, I charge somewhere between £400 and £500 per day.
If you have a really juicy project of a decent size, then there's a little bit of wiggle room.
Once the scope of the project is clear, I'll give you an estimate for the job based on my day rate. With larger projects and when taking on new clients, I always ask for a deposit (usually 50%) before cracking on.

After years of working in London ad agencies and freelancing as both Copywriter and Art Director, I took on the role of Creative Director on the P&O Ferries account at an agency in Kent. Here I teamed up with the Client Services Director and we started our own creative agency.
After many happy years, I sold the agency and I am back swimming in the freelance pool, doing what I love.
