About me

I started out with my head in the music world, but before going on to study music at university I was drawn towards design and decided not to go to uni at all. The years that followed were spent making poster and album cover artwork in my spare time just for fun. Then in 2017 I decided I would go back into education and study Graphic Design at the UCC. Still driven by design for music, I have found my own aesthetic and style and applied it to other projects such as book design, typeface design and editorial illustration.   Isolation TapesIsolation Tapes is my final major project for my BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Inspired by the bands and artists performing via live streams at the start of lockdown, I wanted to create a record label that gathered musicians from around the world and showcased the music they continued to make whilst staying in isolation. The cassettes, complete with fold out inserts featuring artist interviews, would act as a document of the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. Because this was a live brief, working with

  FEAR: The ExhibitionFEAR was a third year UCC Graphic Design exhibition on a general theme of fear, be it phobias, nightmares or anything else we could link to it. We each had to produce a poster, a catalogue and 16 A5 pieces based on the theme of fear.

  Up In Her Room 2019 – Essex Psych FestI created a number of posters, illustrations and a promotional video for the Essex Psychedelic music festival, 'Up In Her Room 2019' which was run by 'Dayz of Purple and Orange' and Wet Dream Records (now going by 'Up In Her Room')

  Lens – Lens (cover art)Illustration, design and layout for the debut album by Australian band, Lens. Although the album has only been released digitally, I create all my covers so that they are big enough for printing onto 12" record sleeves.
