Graduated as Graphic Designer in the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), Mexico. Working in the design studios Hula+Hula and Estudio La Fe Ciega in Mexico City and Prologue Films in Los Angeles, California, also as design professor in Puebla (Mexico), and as freelance designer and art director. Making design in print media, editorial design, branding, packaging, motion design and as a self-thaught type designer and Illustrator along thirteen last years, also speaking for conferences, lectures and workshops through Mexico. Awarded, Published, highlighted and reviewed around the world, since books, magazines and exhibitions.
Working for a wide range of projects and clients. I also develop my own projects besides my professional path, designing a very wide collection of fonts, type research and custom type with more than 100 fonts along 15 years. Some of my fonts are distributed by T.26, and coming soon, I'll be launching my fonts for commercial.
I also produce, manage, design and illustrate 'Imagineactions. Pride is wearable', my own t-shirt brand launched in the fall of 2013.
Besides design, I love writing by my own, currently on the way of writting my first novel and a small collection of poetry and essays. For now, those are in spanish —my first language—, but occasionally and eventually I'll be doing in english too.
Making and thinking design for life, and life for design, has just making me giving a point of view about who, where, when and how I am and see the world through my roots and the world that I'm looking for, assuming the risk of building a point of view as someone that is pushing forward for what's the next. This is me. This is my brand. This is a little wink to my world.
