Able to do many aspects of accounting, budgeting and payroll from recent experience and training. Passionate about music and art, with a wide range of experience within creative fields. Plays in two bands involving song writing, collaboration, bass playing, and vocals, whilst also assisting in the production of their music videos.

  • Fika is an independent Swedish inspired restaurant founded in 2008. In my position as operations manager I am managing the day-to-day running of the business with a main focus on business development, finance, bookkeeping and events. I am also responsible for overlooking maintenance of the premises to ensure compliance standards are met. I successfully developed an extension to the business in form of an online shop as well as working towards the goal of extending the business with a second café, which opened it’s doors in July 2015. I do organise activities for charity events, such as setting up and promoting ‘pay what you want’ for a meal, art exhibitions and fun runs. Acting like a PA and right hand to the director, a natural leadership and a ‘hands on’ independent attitude has become essential. I attend many industry events and press nights to promote the brand. Key responsibilities - Manager of operations, both internally on our two sites as well as on external events - PA to founder and director - Communicate with clients and customers daily on the phone and via email (mailchimp) - Accounts and bookkeeping. A confident user of accounting program ‘Xero’, as the full Microsoft office package - Perform and control account reconciliations - Raise and distribute invoices - Organising and promoting strategy for charity events - Staff management and recruiting - Events organiser and creative program developer - Liaising with suppliers and vendors - Liaising with clients and project manage any external catering - Online and in store retail - Bookings for large parties/private events, including emails, reminders, taking payments and staff scheduling
