About me

Joseph Bisat Marshall is a graphic and set designer based in London, UK. His graphic design studio produces print, digital and spatial work and has a particular interest in book design and typography, as well as graphic design for stage and film. Alongside his studio, Joseph works with Ken Garland as an associate in his publishing venture, Pudkin Books. As a set designer, Joseph has worked on shows for the West End and Broadway as well as international opera. He has assisted and created work for Stewart Laing, Andy Walmsley, Michael Pavelka, Lez Brotherston, Totie Driver, Matt Kinley, Paul Brown, Scott Pask, Cameron Mackintosh and Leslie Travers, with whom he currently assists on a number of projects. Joseph designed the 2016/17 UK tour of Africarmen by Tavaziva and Hanna Wroblewski’s Darling I Don’t Sell Dreams, The Place, 2017. He is currently the production designer on a feature films due to be released in 2018. He is a visiting lecturer at New College Nottingham and has taught design workshops both in the UK and internationally.
