I am an adaptable and conscientious individual with strong organisational ability. I have recently completed my degree where I was able to balance my studies both with work and other commitments that required much self-motivation and efficiency. My previous work experience has given me excellent interpersonal and customer service skills that enable me to relish in an environment where I am able to work with people. I am keen to apply the various skills I have acquired throughout my work experience into a temporary or permanent role, whilst remaining open to learning new skills. I was the Assistant Manager of the record label division for the Gloucestershire based charity, InfoBuzz. My position required me to design the brand image of the company, enhance awareness on social media platforms and identify potential customers. By creating an online presence, I allowed the company to achieve a successful crowd-funding campaign and acquire sufficient funds for the business to progress. I was also involved in communicating, both face to face and digitally with external companies such as venues in order to develop relationships for future collaborations.
Whilst travelling Australia, I was given a Journalist position for the Travel section of the company’s magazine. I was required to document and compile tourist information, create articles and report back to the headquarters in order for them to be published both in Guestlist's newspaper as well as online.
My main task during the role of Social Media and Communications Operative at the London-based media company consisted of independently managing the social media accounts for a number of clients. These included the clothing store: Trapeze, three London-based bars: SO UK, Sugarcane, Amersham Arms and former Radio 1 DJ’s: Fabio and Grooverider. Other tasks involved prewriting and scheduling content for my client’s accounts and designing marketing campaigns in order to raise awareness. Throughout my position I was required to understand a number of online-based utilities in order to enhance each client's output and create an online presence.
I was employed as a member of the promotional team for the London based record label. My role consisted of carrying out tasks assigned to me from the head office such as, advertising new activity from the record label via social media platforms. I had to represent the company in my local area, acting as the face of the brand and gaining recognition in a responsible, professional manner. I was required to strictly manage my time in order to ensure all updates and campaigns were promoted alongside the new releases from the record label. These tasks required me to be creative and proactive when putting forward ideas and were predominately completed through social media sites.
As part of a promotional team for the popular Gloucestershire based event, my primary task involved consistently advertising the company's information in order to increase awareness. I was also a contact for any general enquiries possible customers may have.
