For the first year I worked as an account executive, planning and buying media for both press and television campaigns across numerous brands. Other duties as an executive included liaising with the sales and editorial teams, working alongside the data team on our agency’s bespoke data analytics system and producing competitor reports for monthly client update meetings. Within a year I was then promoted to senior account executive; in this role I am working more closely with new business wins, reporting to a number of clients on a weekly basis using data to guide more effective targeting, and providing suggestions on how to optimise their campaigns.
I was a member of the production team for the 11th series of X Factor. Working on a temporary basis, I logged interviews with contestants, assisted on shoots for the auditions, and performed general runner duties. I developed time-management skills which were vital when scheduling different shoots over a tight time-frame.
