22, Oxford grad now studying an MA in History of Art. Budding journalist, writer and creative thinker, who aspires to work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment. I have recently discovered my voice through writing and hope to pursue this at a professional level. I am an experienced researcher, academic and online writer, producing content from press releases and news bulletins to longer articles for printed publications. I am also an independent illustrator and self taught artist with an acute awareness for design. I have previously worked with design agencies on creating visual concepts and occupied Chair of my college's Arts Committee whilst studying my undergraduate. I am looking for both experience in writing, editing, research and presenting and full time jobs. I have time in between now and graduation to gain experience in these areas and come September I hope to enter full time employment.
I am currently working at the Bankside Gallery on an ad hoc basis, at reception and exhibition events whilst studying for my Masters degree at The Courtauld Institute. I hope to gain an understanding of how galleries function behind the scenes by committing to working on different events and in the process improving my ability to sell and communicate art works to the public.
