About me
Josh Bradshaw (that’s me!) is an Australian designer chasing that big smoke dream in some of the biggest cities in the world. Taking the Aussie approach of “Why not?” to push the envelope in creating unique experiences for each client, no matter the industry. My design approach has always been, just because it is, doesn’t mean it has to be, making it my duty as a designer to push boundaries and pre-conceptions. My practice spans multiple disciplines; implementing a creative process that combines insight, strategy, imagination, technology and craft. Partnering with inspiring collaborators, innovators and brands; I aspire to create future-facing work that’s meaningful, connects with communities and is conducive of change. We all look at the world through a different lens so I invite you to come look through mine.

    MYNY Branding & IdentityAn ode to the proud New Yorker and everything that makes this city and its unique people. MYNY was an agency commissioned project that aimed to inspire and show residents, new and old, how great New York still is and will continue to be in the face of post pandemic claims that “New York is dead”. The project raised awareness of events, news, proactive causes and profiles of local people and businesses.     YOTEL Brand Refresh 2022YOTEL is a global hotel brand focused on smart stays and unique designs.     As Creative & Art Director, I was in charge of all creative development and implementation across an award winning agency in New York City. Leading a team of 10+ in New York as well as team members in the Melbourne office, my daily routine would consist of tasks such as creation of new business, pitching to multiple clients (and winning!), advising and guiding creatives, client management and relations, implementation of creative campaigns, new branding and identity suites or being onset, directing large scale, big budget photo and video shoots. During my time at Cummins&Partners I achieved a lot, with my proudest moments being; winning awards such as Best Brand Launch or Relaunch at The Travel Marketing Awards in the UK for my work on YOTEL’s positioning and branding redesign, Winner in the Global Campaign, Real Time Response at The Shorty Awards for work on Koala’s of New York campaign and being made temporary Managing Director of the New York agency during a maternity leave cover. My time with Cummins&Partners has seen unprecedented growth for the company, cementing itself as a powerhouse agency of New York and being a solid foundation in helping the company survive a tumultuous period during COVID.

    Winner in Global Campaign, Real Time Response.The Shorty Awards
    In the summer of 2019/2020, Australia was ravaged by its worst bushfire season on record. 1 billion of the country’s unique wildlife - killed, with surviving species facing extinction. In an effort to connect New Yorkers to this heartbreaking tragedy and raise awareness around the devastating impact of the bushfires, Koalas of NYC was born. The objectives of the campaign were to draw attention to the Australia wildlife affected and drive awareness as well as provide a channel for donors to contribute meaningfully. What started as an appeal to New Yorkers grew into a global movement.
