Working in the very high intensity and bustling New Business Department was both challenging and rewarding. As a member of the New Business Department of Landor London, I was one player on a team in transition with a newly appointed Director keen to make a difference. The hugely diverse and dynamic role led me to experience several aspects of the New Business Department, such as the development of a database of 150 brands from where specific brands were selected as targets; researching key individuals involved on certain brands; preparation of RFIs and developing strong relationships with key departments within the office to ensure work was delivered to a satisfactory level within the agreed timeframe; the development of presentations on targeted brands; and work on several pitches for some world famous brands were all part of my daily tasks.
