About me
JUE DJALO is a young textile designer and illustrator, based in London. In 2017 she graduated with a First Class Honour from London College of Fashion with specialism in Fashion and Textiles Print. Her curiosity results in work that uses unique processes to craft materials. Jue’s print designs combine drawing, painting, photographic and digital manipulation. Jue Djalo's artwork is inspired by Africa, nature and photography. The textiles are bold and rich in colour, bringing a fresh and innovative aesthetic to surfaces, suitable for both the couture and high street market. The artist believes that teamwork is the best way to achieve unique results. To this end, she is interested in exploring exciting and innovative collaborations with other creative people.
