About me
Grown up in Mauritius, I am currently doing a degree in Visual Communication at the Arts University of Bournemouth.
I see visual language as something than be as strong as words, particularly in advertising and branding where my
interest lies. I enjoy abstract photography and keeping design simple yet on trend. Visual communication has helped me to understand who I am, as I always have to think: What do I want to show? What are my beliefs?
In my free time I do horse riding and have previously taken part in several
inter African competitions. This has tought me a lot about human relations and the importance of working in teams as well as being trusworthy.
I love my friends’ and familys’ company and listening to electronic music.
Projects
- D&AD Design BridgeWe designed a beauty brand, Unum, that focuses on breaking gender stereotypes. Our brand concentrates on a healthy lifestyle and specifically targets the millennial generation. It offers a patch that monitors the user’s hydration levels and helps to relieve stress with a peppermint scent. The brand also offers potassium water that helps to lock in moisture in skin cells.
