I provide support to the buyer by ensuring the smooth running of the
critical path through the whole buying cycle. I cover duties such as
competitive shops reports, maintenance of the sample library,
creating fashion mood boards for store meetings, and providing
basic administration support to the commercial activities from
stocktaking, merchandising and store design, to promotion and retail
management. This work experience is part of the work-based
learning element of my course.

I maintained the showroom’s visual merchandise, coordinated orders
from sales marketing executive for Grazia, Cosmopolitan and Vogue
magazines. I also managed to track our merchandise throughout the
use of fashion monitor GPS and arrange their delivery.
