Julia Zaltzman is a freelance writer, editor and publishing project manager with over 16 years’ experience. She specialises in luxury lifestyle features, contract publishing and producing bespoke coffee-table books, and regularly contributes to many yachting and lifestyle-led publications. She is editor of FRASER magazine and Natural Beauty News. She is available for copywriting, proofreading, longer-length writing, editing and editorial project management.
Projects
- Design Centre Luxury Journal 2Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is a unique resource used regularly by many of the world’s leading designers. The management team wanted to raise awareness among a wider audience of superyacht owners, designers and naval architects, and thus The Design Centre Luxury Yacht Journal was born. I was appointed as Editorial Project Manager on issue 2, conceiving editorial ideas, as well as writing all of the content.
- Heesen Book 6The Heesen Yachts Book is the annual luxury publication for Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts. I project managed Book 6 from concept to delivery, from brainstorming editorial and commissioning writers to overseeing design and managing all suppliers, including print and distribution. In an effort to celebrate the craftsmanship, style and elegance of the Heesen Yachts brand, the Heesen Book cover is each year dedicated in honour of one of the spectacular yachts to emerge from the production shed. The stunning 50m Monaco Wolf, launched in 2014 and highly streamlined both above and below the waterline, was the title yacht of the annual Heesen Book 6 cover.
- Natural Beauty NewsNatural Beauty News is a bi-annual magazine conceived to serve as a natural evolutionary publication from the Natural Beauty Yearbook. Serving the organic beauty industry with the latest in features, news, interviews and trend forecasts, it publishes alongside Natural Products magazine in March and November. As the editor of both publications, it was an interesting project bridging the two publications, taking the best bits of NBYB and combining them with new and exciting features within the pages of NBN.
