About me
I am an enthusiastic, innovative and results-driven individual with an overall passion for excellence. I have ample experience in developing international partnerships within the entertainment industry to generate incremental revenue and marketing offset for the talent and brands involved. I also have an in-depth understanding of region-specific behaviour, particularly of the Middle-East, India & Far East. I have worked on content series creation, social media strategies, fully integrated marketing campaigns for products and artists, big endorsements, international events etc. I speak 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch) and know the basics in Hindi and Arabic.     Responsible for building relationships with brands and devising long-term music-based brand marketing strategies involving artists from the Sony Music roster. Delivering incremental revenue and marketing exposure for Sony Music artists by building partnerships with relevant brands. Develop intellectual property. Actively encourage new business. ? Responsible for pitching artists to brands and agencies, closing and negotiating brand deals and ongoing management of partnerships with brands, artists and managers (use of artists’ image, events, tour sponsorship, endorsement, branded content creation, performances etc). ? Built strategy for the partnership team in the UK by prioritising objectives- focusing on delivering new platforms for up-and-coming artists helping brands to increase awareness and establish credibility i.e. Xperia Access is an online platform showcasing Sony Music’s latest talent which aimed to reshape Sony Mobile’s brand image DV ~€2M. ? FY14 Budget responsibilities of €1.5M - Contributed to 59% of the team’s overall revenue and 72% of the team’s profit. ? Negotiated and renewed pan-European brand deals generating incremental revenue for artists and Sony Music (Sony Electronics/Mobile DV~$5M, Reebok DV~$4M, Rolls Royce~£250K, Topshop, Dsquared2, BMW, Spotify, Starbucks, Microsoft Lumia, Lacoste, Adidas, Vodafone, EE, O2, Pandora, Playstation etc). ? Developed and nurtured relationships with all stakeholders – brands’ marketers and planners, label teams, business affairs, artists’ management teams and artists (One Direction, Alicia Keys, Calvin Harris, Hurts, Mark Ronson, Labrinth, Foxes, The Script, Katy B, Kasabian, Paloma Faith, Little Mix, Tom Odell, Olly Murs etc). ? Renewed the pan-European partnership with Reebok EMEA three times by demonstrating credibility and reliability in delivering against plans whilst not losing sight of the vision and creativity required when working with artists. Sony Music became a retained company for Reebok EMEA providing music marketing strategy and solutions. ? Have remained Sony Headphones preferred music marketing partner for three consecutive years for all their high-end headphones range by overcoming cultural gaps between Japanese corporate vision and the endorsing artists’ creative environment. This required solid communication skills and a solution-seeking attitude whilst setting-up a marketing strategy with Japanese engineers and marketers as well as European sales force. ? Proactively approached and developed a relationship with fashion brands Vivienne Westwood and Dunhill, initially by providing them with music for their fashion shows and sourcing suitable artists for fashion week performances in the UK, France and China. Vivienne Westwood has now become Sony Music’s main fashion partner for the styling of all UK artists’ music videos. Sony Music now has a retainer-based agreement with Dunhill. ? Built, led and nurtured a joint venture between Elite Models and Sony Music around ‘Special bookings’ by giving Elite access to new signings first and by providing the Sony Music roster with additional fashion-based promotional and commercial opportunities (Editorials, video content, brand ambassador, front row during fashion weeks).
