About me
I'm a 3rd design student in the York/ Sheridan Bachelors program who is eager to learn! As I explore the different paths in design I have found I am most passionate about production design for film, typography, editorial design, and creative coding! I have a wide range of interests and love to read. When I'm not in school I do freelance design work and make and sell sustainable clothing from recycled materials. I hope I can learn from more designers in the industry and become a great multidisciplinary designer one day!
Projects
  • Stoon Magazine
Stoon MagazineStoon magazine is a 46 page editorial design project which explores the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan through an artistic lens. All photographs were shot on 35mm film and articles were written by the editor along with a few locals. The first issue is about local places. It explores the spots unknown and overlooked by both citizens and visitors. Besides The Remai Modern Art Museum, Saskatoon has very little for design culture. As the city continues to grow and develop a stronger art community,

    Saskatoon, CanadaPart Time
Friedt Finishing is a cabinetry and millwork company in Saskatoon that was having a change in ownership. They were looking for a simular but new and improved brand identity. I have completed the redesign of their company logo and am now working on designing a new website to enhance their digital presence.

    Saskatoon, CanadaFull Time
Due to the lack of work in spring of 2020 I decided to start my own business. I started a handmade bucket hat company called Dirty Buckets. As a designer in today's world I feel that I have a responsibility to make sure that I am ethical about what I do and consider the impact I have on the world. I decided that all the hats that I made would be made strictly from used or recycled materials. Most hats are made from materials and clothing bought from second hand stores in order to help the clothing waste crisis instead of adding to it. I do all the photoshoots, branding, marketing, production, and management. During school I do not have the time to sew hats but plan to continue my work during winter break or next spring.
