I am a London based designer currently studying Production Arts for Screen Set Design pathway at Wimbledon College of Arts. I am a highly motivated and hardworking individual who pays great attention to detail and loves producing high-quality work.     Qing Dynasty Dining RoomFor this project, I was asked to design a set of my choice using a given location and create a white card model of the existing place as well as a coloured model of my final design.

    “High Rollers” - Production DesignColour is the key element in creating the emotional atmosphere that helps with character developments and storytelling. The main character Jasmine is represented by the colour red as the hue itself contains a mixture of different connotations in which is a perfect representation of the variety of emotions she experiences throughout the film. The primary colour is very noticeable within the sets which establishes the feeling that she is ‘out of place’.

    Tang Dynasty Throne Room - Production Design & Model makingThis design is based around the only Empress of China - Wu ZeTian. I wanted to create an interior that expresses both power and femininity. Instead of the regular rectangle-shaped architecture which creates a harsher appearance, I have chosen to use a hexagon shape to incorporate a sense of roundness that helps to construct a gentler and softer appearance yet still keeps the sharp corners of the room.     The Grand Budapest HotelAll measurements of the room were calculated completely from film stills. The heights of the actors were used as a reference to approximate the dimensions of the rectangular windows and other furniture within the set.
