Hi! I’m Justin, a creative director and copywriter based in London, UK.
I’m currently at the Google Creative Lab, Google’s in-house product marketing and development studio.
Here are some things I’ve helped create: Project Bloks, a physical coding platform; Project Jacquard, an interactive woven textile; guided tours inside Abbey Road Studios; an interactive art exhibition and competition called DevArt, and campaigns for Google Science Fair, Sideways Dictionary, and Spell Up, an online word game that helps people improve their English.
I’ve also had stints at Apple, R/GA, B Reel, Rethink and Sid Lee.
Outside of work, I write for magazines and have had pieces published in Monocle, GQ, Wallpaper and Hypebeast Magazine. I was previously a teacher at the School of Visual Arts in New York. And these days, you can find me teaching writing workshops at General Assembly in London.

- Sideways DictionarySideways Dictionary is a collection of fun, easy-to-understand analogies that help explain complicated technology terms. Use it to look up tech terms of all kinds, vote for the definitions you like best, and even add your own. Creative Lab helped our friends at Google Jigsaw bring this project to life by writing, art directing, and producing two short animations. One to introduce the project, and a second to help people get in the right mindset to write and contribute analogies of their own.
