An uncompromising passion for defining value through an emotional and spiritual experience laid the foundation for Kacper Hamilton to work under his own name since 2009. Over the years, Kacper Hamilton has developed a unique style, which is inspired by narratives, tradition and rituals. Hamilton's work draws from his intuitive drive to create modernity through bringing elements of the past into a contemporary context. The notion of storytelling plays a significant role in his design process, as well as the aspiration to create timeless artefacts that carry underlying values of heritage and respect for the past. Kacper Hamilton has worked with a range of prestigious international brands such as Clarks, Wallpaper* Handmade, Pernod Ricard, Ballantine’s Whisky, Zai and Baccarat Crystal; creating bespoke experiences, unique installations and consumer products. Besides providing a range of services across many platforms of design, Kacper Hamilton is now also devoted to developing a range of exclusive in-house products. From an early stage, Kacper Hamilton's work explored the implications of projecting narratives onto products and used design as a medium to tell stories. In 2008 Hamilton completed his first piece, entitled '7 Deadly Glasses'. This series of handmade wine glasses stimulated an investigation into what is deemed ‘socially acceptable behaviour’. 7 Deadly Glasses received great media attention and acclaim, and has been exhibited internationally. Since then, the notion of storytelling has played a significant role in Hamilton’s design process. Kacper Hamilton studied BA (Hons) Product Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London, and completed a Masters in 'Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship' at ECAL, in Switzerland.Locked Pro Plan feature
