About me

I am a UI, interactive and all round digital designer. I am passionate about all aspects of design, music, art, plants, retro futurism, interiors and aesthetics in general. I believe that constantly staying inspired and proactive is the key to growing as a designer. I am extremely driven, hard working and work well under pressure. I will always take on the challenge to better myself as a designer, a person and a team player. I am an experienced Digital Designer from Cape Town, South Africa, living in London. My background consists of print basics, moving forward into advertising and marketing, and today, pure digital UI and interaction design. I have recently had UX, UI and basic coding training to stand me in good stead for my web design. I however love being as creative as possible and thinking of concepts and executions. I am proficient in Adobe’s After Effects, Photoshop, illustrator, inDesign, as well as Sketch, which I use daily alongside InVision. I am always willing to learn new software.

  THE WEB FOUNDATION | 30 YearsTo mark the 30th anniversary of the World Wide Web's invention, we worked with The Web Foundation to create an ad urging people to wake up and take note of digital inequality across the globe and sign the petition #ForTheWeb. Appearing in The Financial Times on March 12th 2019, the concept was given the final sign-off (and stamp of approval) by the inventor of the web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, himself. Pretty freakin' sweet.

I worked at Liquorice Digitas in Cape Town, South Africa for almost three years before deciding to move to London. While I was there I worked on many well-known brands such as Unilever and Distell. I worked across multiple platforms such as UI, social media campaign content creation and motion.
