Welcome to my profile, my name is Kanéda H Sylvester-Vuong. I originate from Vietnam, China & Grenada and was born & raised in London.
Growing up with neither parents physically around, nor adults or role models that I aspired to be like, I naturally took things into my own hands & took charge of my own career from an extremely young age. Inevitably, I became excessively independent and a highly mature individual. Although, actions will always speak louder than words. My passion for fashion began when I was 8 years old & was told to design my own bridesmaid dress for my auntie's wedding (although I never got to attend, therefore not have a reason for it to be made). Being given that project to submit opened to my mind to countless opportunities, I realised that I was able to draw, I had a great eye for attention and loved the idea of clothing and designing it. Progressing into secondary school I met more characters and through commonly making friends & trying out new things, I discovered that I had a steady hand for makeup & completing beauty treatments like lash extensions. I began to sell strip lashes at school & complete fashion & beauty makeovers for music video's on my weekends & evenings.
As most girls do, I love to shop. With my combined interests I began to style, shop and complete makeovers for clients as much as I possibly could after leaving school. Having lived with my grandma & had no financial support I dropped out of college after four months (studying: Business, Geography & Philosophy) & got a job as a Tenancy Manager in a Real Estate company whilst still completing my fashion tasks on the side. At 18 years old I moved out & moved into my own flat, with the flexibility to work when & where ever I need too. I currently have three businesses, one in lash extensions, one in personal styling & shopping, and one in makeup artistry. Business is growing, enough for me to support myself financially.
I am now looking for work within the fashion industry to give me stability and a more corporate view of the industry as a whole.

- Eyelash Extension TechnicianA professionally trained, Level 3 qualified, independent Makeup Artists & Eyelash Technician. With this job I take bookings for themed events, day to day make up looks, individual eyelash extensions and LVL Lash treatments. From starting this freelance business, I have improved my organisation and time management skills as well as helped build a large range of constant customers and relationships. I have also now launched an Instagram page with all previous eyelash extension work. @Lasheswith
