Hello! I am searching for my next long-term commitment, where I can help grow a company and grow along with it. My career in the fashion/luxury/retail/e-commerce arena, (in-house and consulting), in the US and Europe, has given me a broad view of clients’ varying needs and how to solve them... with a multidisciplinary approach, in a proactive, timely and efficient manner. It’s the process I love and can be applied to any product, brand, target market, etc., with a sophisticated or fun approach and everything inbetween. Growing up in a family business in Advertising Specialties. I attained a creative and business acumen from a very early age, In addition, having a background in architectural, theater, interior, industrial, packaging and environmental design has brought another dimension to my work. Leading creative teams, photo shoots and bringing many different people and departments together, I know the importance of creating a collaborative environment where people feel respected, supported and safe to go beyond their comfort zone to create, innovate and excel. I listen, take action, speak up, question, inspire, mentor, nurture, challenge, go for the gold, expect the best and help them get there. I also bring with me a strong creative point of view, confidence in what I know and how to communicate that, an open mind, integrity, energy (I do not stand still), intuitive sense, centered approach, interpersonal skills, desire to learn more, the ability to admit when I’m wrong, to multitask, to navigate well through uncharted territory and difficult situations... and I play nicely with the other kids. Developing my own project... a cool new social mobile advertising platform... augmented my already curious nature, entrepreneurial spirit, drive to know more and no holds barred attitude. An invaluable view of my strengths and immediate need to conquer the week links. The need to build trust, guide, communicate, negotiate are also invaluable strengths working with external clients as well as the in-house structure. Whether building a brand or creating a one off, a clear vision and continuity is key... every piece an important part of the puzzle. Everyone has a unique skill set and creative point of view. I believe in the doctrine ‘Less is More’. Anyone can compose music with lots of notes. Finding the most essential ones and creating with just those elements is what makes a masterful piece. The rest is just noise and gets in the way of the story being told. The culture, frenetic energy and communal goal of a startup, becoming a strong brand and expanding into a global force is invigorating.
