About me

 

I have been working in the communications / digital industry for over 10 years and pride myself on my prolonged passion for the work I do. Having worked at 50 Kaliber for much of this time, I have been able to experience many different aspects of the digital content world. I am loyal, hard working and passionate, with an ability to adapt to environmental change to ensure tasks are completed. Leaving the creative outlet aside, albeit not underrated, I am impassioned by the people I meet and work with and this being a large part that fuels my desire, I believe this translate to any role in which I’ll take on. Moving forward I aim to use my extensive project management and production experience and the skills I have picked up over the years and adapt these for a new role. I am ready for a change of industries and ready to tackle the new challenges this brings. I am excited to try something different and willing to put my everything into the next role I take on.

  • th1ng, pronounced ‘thing one’ is an animation, graphics, and mixed media production company that creates the moving image, ranging from commercials, title sequences, and content across all media. th2ng is a sister company of th1ng, which perfectly compliments the animation, design, and post production expertise of th1ng. th2ng specialise in live action commercials, innovative branded content, and long form films. ?As their Production Manager I am across all the elements that go into crafting cinematic and interesting films. From budgeting and ?scheduling, to understanding all aspects of pre-production, a deep level understanding of production and being quite tech ??savvy?? as there is a need to be across post-production techniques.

  • As Head of Operations at 50 Kaliber, I worked to contribute to the development and implementation of long term strategies, processes and policies, as well as ensuring 50 Kaliber's values and culture are upheld. I was also tasked with ensuring the operational environment that existed was effective and that the company’s everyday tasks ran smoothly and in a timely manner to ensure we serviced our clients to the best of our ability. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to have a hand in virtually every aspect of the business, which allowed me to experience the full breadth of the company’s services from inception through to delivery. Along with the department heads, I managed teams that were flexible in size due to the workload of the company, sizes varying from 4 – 40. Also being responsible for creating a better and more effective working environment, which helped create a happier team!

  • As a Producer it was my responsibility to ensure our clients outcomes were produced with the highest level of care, understanding and attention to detail around messaging, deadlines and budgets. 50 Kaliber pride themselves on finding the right solution for each client and creating a bespoke outcome using various technologies and delivering each outcome on the desired platform. My end goal was to always ensure the process for my clients, was as effortless and enjoyable as possible - taking them through the end-to-end service that 50 Kaliber offered.
