  • I am responsible for the management (with the Co-Heads of Corporate Partnerships in overview) of a selection of sponsorship accounts for art projects and exhibitions at the museum, including Northacre, Clarks, Agent Provocateur, Wartski, Societe Generale, MasterCard, Samsung and Toshiba. Day to day account management including preparing for and attending meetings, responding to queries efficiently, negotiating sponsorship contracts, managing payment of sponsorship fees, reporting back on V&A news and maintaining regular communications. Ensuring the efficient delivery of benefits in consultation with internal departments including the managing of approvals for sponsor credits. Project management of sponsorships including liaising with internal departments and attending steering group meetings. Designing and compiling evaluation reports on usage of benefits with InDesign. Drafting communications for the Museum Director and Director of Development to sponsors and facilitating opportunities to further cultivate relationships. Attending both V&A and sponsor events. Updating Raisers Edge with information on sponsorship accounts and maintaining best practice. Researching and monitoring corporate news and identifying new prospects to cultivate new relationships. Pitching corporate sponsorship and membership opportunities to prospects.

  • I provided administrative assistance to a busy team in fundraising and relationship building with corporate partners and internal departments. Organising mail outs, exhibition tickets, curator talks and other benefits for corporate partners. Dealing with enquiries efficiently, drafting letters and other communication. Preparation of presentation materials using InDesign and PowerPoint. Scheduling and preparing for meetings including setting up presentations and organising catering. Assisting with running events by compiling guest lists, mailing invitations, updating Raisers Edge, managing RSVPs and working at events. Researching potential prospects for exhibition sponsorship and corporate membership, compiling company profiles and briefing notes prior to sponsorship approaches, meetings and events. Reading and compiling updates on corporate news and industry press. Updating Raiser’s Edge with relevant company information while maintaining best practice. Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing and issuing invoices. Archiving and file management. Working with the team to review and streamline office systems in order to increase office efficiency.
