Providing assistance for the contemporary commercial gallery in Soho. The responsibilities include communicating with artists, designing artist overviews and putting together press excerpts for clients, assisting during exhibition openings, various research tasks, and being the gallery receptionist. Being responsible for the setup and overall appearance of the Southard Reid booth at the London Sunday Art Fair, contributed to the overall success at the art fair.
Leading painting workshop for children aged 3-13 years. Introducing modern and contemporary portrait painters, teaching different painting techniques and organising children painting exhibitions in the end of the course.
Managed a London-based pop-up gallery project dedicated to emerging contemporary artists. Organised three successful art exhibitions in well-known gallery spaces around London, one of which was selected by the Whitechapel Gallery to be visited by their First Thursday’s Art Bus Tour. The responsibilities included budget planning, applying for grants and sponsorships, designing all digital and print marketing materials, creating the brand and online presence of the company, shipping artworks, communicating with artists and clients, organising exhibition openings, artist talks and presentations, curating, writing press releases, and promoting in social media.
Worked as a tour guide on bus tours to Czech Republic. Introduced Latvia, Lithuania and Poland throughout the journey to Czech Republic. Prepared and researched all the materials for tours. Led the group and put together the city tour route. Selected films and music to introduce the culture of countries visited.
Worked as a guide assistant on bus tours to Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and Hungary. Key responsibilities were finding solutions to problems during the bus travel (including organising bus repairs when needed), communicating with hotels, making reservations, and being responsible for financials of the trip.
Provided travel information to clients, answered phone calls and e-mails, made travel contracts and travel insurances, prepared travel documents, and conducted job interviews. Gained full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Worked in Estonian biggest Art Museum during The XV Tallinn Print Triennal “For Love, Not Money” curated by Simon Rees, Eha Komissarov and Eve Kask. Helped preparing the exhibition by mounting installations and graphic artworks. Assisted Puerto Rican artist Frances Gallardo with her performance “Giving, an art action”.
