Creative and detail-orientated Textile Designer focusing on gaining industrial experience in an interiors design company. I specialise in printed textiles design and achieved a 2:1 in first and second year. I utilise a wide-variety of artistic skills to create repeat and compositional wallpapers, fabric designs and patterns for woven, knitted and printed materials used to make clothes and other textiles products such as interiors fabrics by hand, through screen printing and digital print. Excellent use of computer based design software such as Adobe Photoshop and computer aided design (CAD) to manipulate digital designs until they meet project specifications. Strong research skills allow for an established familiarity with commercial trends coupled with the ability to identify colour palettes. Currently seeking a junior designer role to bring my experience into the industry.
