I’m a hybrid designer, strategist and facilitator who thrives on working across projects, from research, development and strategy to designing, building, testing and implementing products and services. I started my career in creative roles, working in digital design and animation. I now work with clients applying design thinking and digital processes to develop working solutions that answer real human needs. An eternal optimist, I believe in creativity and the power of play to transform how we work and connect. For me, lifelong learning is at the heart of developing working cultures and communities that can thrive in a future of constant change.Locked Pro Plan feature
Responsible for developing new products and improving existing services, identifying strategies, opportunities and technology to create an experience which delivers extraordinary value for our clients. Breakthrough Global are a culture transformation consultant, my role sits across all sections of the business, from research and development through to sales, marketing and project management. I work directly with clients to create bespoke innovation programmes which use human-centred design principles and systems thinking to create new business opportunities and strategies. The aim is to inspire a culture of innovation that runs through the veins of the organisation, putting people at the heart of the transformation process with the power to create real change.
I led our clients through the mindset shift required for Digital Transformation. As part of this, I developed a digital learning and development platform to support the ongoing cultural and behaviour change needed to achieve successful growth. I took a holistic, Learning Experience Design approach, collaborating directly with clients through the development process. The platform supports participants to create a lasting transformation, extending the Breakthrough programmes from a 3-day intervention to a 100-day experience. Over 1200 people have been enrolled on the digital learning platform since 2018, each instance is designed based on the client’s outcomes. I continue to design, deliver and project manage the platform using an iterative data-driven process of development, testing and improving against success criteria which focus on user feedback and engagement.
I took a service design approach to the role, re-designing the client experience and creating a coherent proposition and consistent creative strategy for the brand. I re-branded the organisation with a renewed focus on the value proposition and creating a vision of the brand which communicated it’s unique value in a crowded market place. This extended the reach of the Breakthrough online presence by 339% creating a digital content strategy which aligned with core business development goals.
At design-led creative agency Tricycle, I was responsible for delivering multi-channel creative campaigns across TV, print and digital. Supporting a diverse range of clients from concept through development ensuring high performing designs meeting client-business objectives.
During my time at Draw (formerly known as Last Exit) I: • Built on my existing knowledge of digital across more eCommerce based sites • Developed my design skills and attention to detail • Worked on second screen projects and kept a close eye on developing design trends • Developed my understanding of user experience and design, including creating wireframes • Worked closely with developers on a parallax scroll site and learnt a great deal from them, including basic CSS and HTML as well as developing an interest in the frontier of digital design
I moved to Biscuit as I wanted to develop my animation and motion graphics skills and work for a broader clients base within the advertising industry. As it was a small agency I had the opportunity to work on a huge variety of projects and develop a wide range of skills. • Helped develop creative concepts for advertising campaigns • Worked on several print campaigns for Silvikrin (P&G), creating a new style aimed at younger audiences and later setting the style for the POS • Developed my motion graphics skills and learnt about designing for TV • Ran a pitch to rebrand the Foxy Bingo website keeping in mind user journey and experience as well as digital presence, content and strategy, during which I managed a team of freelance designers.
After exhibiting my work at D&AD I was headhunted for the role as Junior Designer, as it was a small agency I had the opportunity to learn about all aspects of digital design. • Developed my animation skills, working on a number of high profile projects with The Body Shop • Worked on several social media campaigns, designing banner ads and Facebook pages as well as micro-sites and game graphics • Learnt about digital strategy and planning • Worked closely with developers and was taught best practice techniques for web design • Developed a passion for digital which I maintain, always keeping up to date with the latest design trends
An exploration of self-initialised lifelong learning, Enrol Yourself is a 6-month peer-led learning accelerator. I am at the beginning of my second Learning Marathon focusing on the question “How can we build human connection into services and systems?”
Described as a creative MBA I learnt grounded academic theory and models through practical industry application, working full-time whilst studying.
