As a fashion intern I was conducting researches on images and necessary information, creating mood boards and requests - gathering necessary imagery was crucial for my role. I was also assisting in photo shoots - dressing up models, organising deliveries and returns. I improved my skills in working in a fast-paced environment and got to know, how to create unusual and inspiring content.
As a freelance editor I had to generate interesting content for the website and printed version of the magazine, related to fashion and lifestyle, working closely with senior editors. From time to time I was taking part in editorial board’s meetings, having brainstorms regarding upcoming issues. If needed, I was helping the magazine with its events - contacting sponsors, advertising agencies etc. I have gained ability to stick to very short deadlines, work under pressure and multi-task, because office was changing every day into a different place, not leaving any space for routine.
As a photographer’s assistant I was working during photoshoots and projects – some of them were published in the biggest magazines. I also took part in shooting look books for different Polish brands. I was helping with organising photographer’s schedule, was taking part in meetings and events. I learnt a lot about technical side of photography (what sometimes included simple editing of pictures), but also gained organising skills and learnt how to work within a fast-paced environment.
