Having worked mainly high end (Victoria Beckham (bags), Kult Domini, Ryan Lo, Rejina Pyo, Vivienne Westwood (accessories)), my most recent position as Womens Footwear Designer at Next was a slightly different experience. I was hired to bring something fresh and innovative to the very traditional company.
I have always been used to juggling many projects at one time (especially with my freelance projects), working under pressure to tight deadlines does not intimidate me, and working for a high street brand really pushed my time keeping abilities, as well as proving my adaptability skills.
I am organised, have great technical knowledge across multi product, comfortable hand drawing (preference) as well as CAD, including Photoshop & Illustrator (please see my attached work samples).
A great eye for colour and materials, I love working on print designs to compliment product if needed. I am used to managing a critical path and strict budget.I am used to travelling abroad and communicating regularly with foreign factories (Italy, Portugal, China, India, Brazil)
I would describe myself as having a very positive can do attitude, creative and highly motivated with a calm yet structured mentality. I work very well alone or amongst a team. I pride myself on being easily adaptable to new environments.
I am now searching for a company which I can invest in & grow together with the brand. My priority is to find a fantastic brand I really believe in for whom I can dedicate my skills and creative passion.
