About me
I am a recent graduate from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London with BA (Hons) Textile Design, specialising in stitch, mixed and media textile. My work strongly lies on discovering unique materials and unconventional techniques in refined and sleek forms. I work closely with intricate texture while experimenting with sculptural form, adapting and modernising traditional fabric textiles techniques. Through my discipline I explored my creativity in different fields of interest where I found myself drawn to textiles and jewellery design in fashion. My profession and experiences also expands to creative and visual direction where interested in visual merchandising and creative editorial work. Aside from my creative practices, I developed great administrative skills and understanding in the industry from experiences. I am detailed orientated, highly organised and excellent in time management, which has allowed me to complete tasks with tight deadlines.
Projects
  • Meeting at Infinity
Meeting at Infinity‘Meeting at infinity’ explores soft forms in manipulation of linearity, creating a visual where with a starting point, lines curve and flow into loops of infinity. The concept begins with the inspiration of vanishing points in projective geometry: parallel lines meeting at infinity, suggesting a drawn point of immersion within a space. My final outcome is a collection of six sculptural pieces. They are suspended hanging textile sculptures like an ephemeral form frozen in space. At the same time,

  • Merge
MergeMy concept explores the contrasting processes of merging forms and destructive forces, looking specifically at rock formations and erosion. Natural processes take thousands of years, to form and then disintegrate, representing a record of history and story. This idea is reimagined by accelerating natural processes; experimenting on contrasting textures of the delicates and destruction. This is carried through an investigation into various techniques and material combinations of spontaneous transformation, irregular growth, compression and organic demolishment.
