My name is Kate Hardy, I am a 23 year old Head Runner, working at Mother London. In my spare time I direct, write and film my own short films. I have hopes in becoming a TV/ Film producer. I gathered my experience through production running on Television production sets and office production since the age of 15 and have graduated from The University of The Arts in 2020, majoring in Media Communications and Production. Growing up in the North-East of England, my cultural identity is embedded within who I am today, the love I have for capturing on camera and articulating on paper is authentic stories of individuals who's cultural identity empowers them for the future. I am super hard working, a great communicator and a passionate, charismatic and independant female. You can take the girl out of the North, but you can never take the North out of the girl.

I recently became Head Runner at Mother London, just awarded 'Independent Agency Of The Year, 2020'. My role is managing the runners team in the infamous Mother 'cage', facilitating all things operational. The role varies from making sure the building is at a high standard and interacting and dealing with requests from the Founder to every person in respective disciplines. Being exposed to this unique overview of an independent ad agency that your not likely to know when moving further up the ladder has been mind blowing. Progressing my communication skills, team work and determination in making sure every task is given 100% even in a fast pace and tough environment. Bringing my own perspective and maturity to the role has exposed my talent and ideas when managing a team and also dealing with the stars and icons at Mother.

I am currently the Marketing Manager of Nando’s Camberwell, after starting as a cashier at age 16, I have worked my way up in the company to combine my future career and part time job. I believe that Nando's allowed me to become the person I am today, I have gained many friends, a lot of integrity and communication skills that have gained me a place at my dream University studying Media Communications and Production.
