About me
I'm a UX and digital product specialist with 6 years experience across financial services, retail and beauty. Designed experiences and shaped products including; ecommerce platforms, marketing websites, in-store technologies, financial trading platforms and iOS & android apps. Having often bridged the gap between product and UX, I‘ve developed a broad set of skills within; UX design, UX research, people management, and product management. Now looking to transition into a product role to grow experiences from a different perspective. I’m ambitious and hope for an opportunity to challenge and propel my existing skillset and experience.

    Grew and managed a team of 2 UX designers, working to pivot the way the business positions itself in relation to digital products and customer problems. Managed and oversaw the redesign of the ecommerce site in line with a replatform project. Goal to cause a conversion uplift of 10% (go live Jan 19). Iterated on the checkout flow ahead of peak trading leading to 4% decrease in drop off. Adopted product responsibilities and drove forward discovery, ideation workshops and the MVP roadmap for a vision aiming to combine beauty and tech, looking further than the ecommerce website.

    Set up the global UX function, building, managing and leading a team of 3 UX designers and 1 researcher who were responsible for the experience across every internal and external user interface, including; international websites, Android and iOS apps, and both employee & client trading applications. Responsible for successful delivery of; a new design system, creating customer journey maps, building out a user panel and the design of a new product with 62% adoption rate in 6 months. Responsible for driving UX strategy and execution of roadmap including; decreasing registration drop out by 12%, launching a new mobile app, running discovery workshops for improved payments flows and re-designing our compliance system as part of our tech transformation project. Embedding user centered design into existing processes and following the double diamond framework to create design excellence. Worked as right hand man to our Director of product supporting on stakeholder management, roadmap development, product visioning.
