About me
An artistic and hard-working individual who graduated from Edinburgh University with a 2.1 in History of Art in May 2022. I am currently working as a Digital Creative Coordinator for Brora, however I am always searching for opportunities to expand my interest and experience in the creative world. I am visually driven with a passion for art and culture and have experience working for modern art galleries, as well as experience in the world of fashion.
Projects
- The University of Edinburgh – Analytical Project – “Sonia Delaunay’s Simultaneous Dress: Modernity and the New Woman”- For this project I decided to look solely at one object: Delaunay’s Simultaneous Dress. - I discussed how, as an object, it responded to broader issues of technological and industrial advancement, as well as the phenomenon of the ‘New Woman’ and female liberation.
- Neela JewelleryI have always had a strong interest in fashion and jewellery design and during lockdown 2019 I decided to dedicate my time away from work and university to setting up a small, sustainable business/ project of my own. During the previous summer I had begun designing and making my own jewellery, but decided to take this a step further by repurposing old jewellery and combining it with new materials to make my own designs. I set up an Instagram account 'Neela' to promote my work. It was exciting ru

Digital Creative CoordinatorBrora ltd
London, United KingdomFull Time
I began my time at Brora with an internship. I assisted the Stylist and Digital Creative Manager during the SS23 E-commerce shoots. After which I applied for a permanent role.
I work closely with the Digital Creative Manager on the visual presentation of the website. Much of this work consists of conceptualising and coordinating shoot assignments.
For editorial and e-commerce shoots I liaise with the stylist and photographer in line with the agreed calendar. I am incharge of booking/ choosing props, locations, requesting model packages and handling contracts.
During e-commerce, I assist the stylist with the day to day running of the shoots.
A large majority of Brora’s imagery consists of still life images. I am in-charge of conceptualising, coordinating and styling these shoots. On some occasions I have even shot these myself.
It is important that for these shoots I create imagery which aligns with the brand’s image, as well as being within season, this involves extensive brand and trend research.
In the lead up to the still shoots I also liaise with the design team on the design details and selling points of each product.
Additionally, I work closely with the graphics department, ensuring that all assets are available in line with the marketing calendar and campaign launches.

Shop AssistantThe Jackson's Boutique, Nottinghill
- London, United KingdomFull Time
This job was a stop gap between finishing my internship with Brora Ltd and starting a new job there in the following month.
During my time at The Jackson's I oversaw the daily running of the shop and assisted customers with their purchases as well as advising them on their fashion choices.
I was in charge of carrying out stocktaking duties and handled returns and exchanges. In addition to the shop, The Jackson's had an online presence, so therefore everyday I would process and organise shipment of online orders.
As well as maintaining a tidy and presentable shop floor, I was also in charge of the visual merchandising. It was a great opportunity to exercise visual creativity and draw from my knowledge of design trends. It improved my ability to visualise and understand customer perception.
