- Home PoemsRecently, we’ve been busy collaborating on Home Poems: a series of ten very short films featuring ten very short poems penned by Henry Ponder, a minor British poet who majors in finding interest in the everyday. We really love them because they zoom in on the mediative, beautiful and funny moments that happen around us, indoors - encouraging us all to appreciate what we have. The series was shot in the home of director Steven Qua - with Oscar-winning guest director Kevin Macdonald lending11

- Spotlight on AliceThe very talented Director Miles Langley came down to join us this week to profile Alice Manu. Alice joined us two years ago, first as a player and then soon as a coach, running a team at our sister Club, Limehouse Laces and project managing our work in Hackney. The ambition and drive Alice has is immense. Whilst we’re sad to say goodbye when she heads off in a few weeks to America, we couldn’t be prouder. Thank you Miles and Philippa for telling Alice’s story in such a beautiful way. Big laces4
- Collaboration with NikeHACKNEY LACES: WOMEN’S FOOTBALL COMMUNITY Disappointed by the lack of opportunities for London females to play football, Hackney Laces was founded in 2011 with the intention to unite players of all ages and abilities. Six young girls from the community designed the group’s jersey, which includes the silhouette of a female doing a bicycle kick, a football with the female cross symbol and a photo of the shirt makers. https://news.nike.com/news/nike-football-white-shirt-project-20182
