    Lend and collect books, periodicals, videotapes, and other materials at circulation desks. Process new materials including books, audiovisual materials, and computer software. Sort books, publications, and other items according to established procedure and return them to shelves, files, or other designated storage areas. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Instruct patrons on how to use reference sources, card catalogs, and automated information systems. Answer routine inquiries, and refer patrons in need of professional assistance to librarians. Provide assistance to librarians in the maintenance of collections of books, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, and audiovisual and other materials. Register new patrons and issue borrower identification cards that permit patrons to borrow books and other materials. Review records, such as microfilm and issue cards, in order to identify titles of overdue materials and delinquent borrowers. Go to Battersea Campus to issue requested books to students. Assist in the withdrawal of old books from the library catalog. Tag books, magazines, and periodicals for new self check out services and new security system. Input statistics regarding number of patrons using the special collections. Operate all computers, printers, and software applicable to the library. Assist students with printing problems. Organize collections. Scan collections. Clerical work.

Some may have trouble with deciding what to eat while others are dissatisfied with the quality of their meal. Thus it my responsibility to know how to communicate with the guest while communicating clearly with the staff.

    In May of each year the Dean of each Faculty establishes an Honor List containing the names of all full-time students registered in that Faculty who completed a minimum of 4.0 courses during the previous Fall/Winter Session (September-April) and earned an average for the session of 80% or more with no failed courses.
