Intern Oct 2010-Feb 2011 Events and New Media Assistant March 2011-March 2012 Events and New Media Executive April 2012-May 2013 Senior Events Marketing Executive June 2013-Dec 2016 Marketing Responsibilities Delivering the integrated marketing plan for individual events: ● Managing development of all marketing materials - briefing and working with designers to produce a range of collateral types, ensuring creative synergy across all elements. ● Overseeing timely delivery and effective production of all marketing elements in print and online. ● Liaising with clients and key stakeholders to understand requirements and manage artwork approvals, maintaining high levels of communication throughout the event marketing process. ● Copywriting for all marketing channels and editing copy for event brochures with a reputation for excellent attention to detail. ● Driving event ticket sales - sourcing suitable leads, making contact and managing relationships with new and existing leads to complete sales. Working with clients and event committees to identify and engage leads within their communities. ● Managing fulfilment of sponsor requirements including branding, photography, PR and on-site presence. ● Managing the digital presence for each event – development, integrated launch and maintenance of websites; social media management. ● Providing digital campaign reports and monitoring event sales to provide a tailored marketing plan. Managing the Fireball brand: ● Ensuring correct use of the company’s logo, branding and messaging across internal and external materials. ● Maintaining and developing the company website alongside external designers to improve the user experience, using WordPress as a CMS. ● Creating and implementing integrated digital marketing plans to drive revenue for the company’s other revenue streams. ● Managing the company’s comprehensive social media presence. Event Management Responsibilities ● Managing event buying - sourcing suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating costs and ensuring timely delivery. ● Managing guest queries, ensuring timely communication of event information and a positive guest experience. ● Booking and managing temporary event staff - briefing teams of up to 12 on pre-event tasks, ensuring high levels of motivation and efficiency during tasks to meet event deadlines.
