Events & Programme Manager
I am the Events and Programme manager of the New Cross Inn in SE London, responsible for booking a year round programme of live music and arts events for the 300 capacity venue.
• Sole responsibility and creative control over the events diary
• Managing a team of 3 events assistants and interns
• Negotiating deals, contracts and budgets with agents and promoters
• Putting together a range of diverse line-ups from emerging artists to international touring bands, comedy and student events
• Marketing and promoting the venue and events online, on social media and through print and press releases
• Strengthening our links with the local community through fundraisers and access initiatives
Live Events Consultant

Working with the venue to create concepts and advise on a variety of music and arts events, coordinating the programming, promotion and production.
- Negotiating and contracting financial and production deals with agents and artists
- Handling venue and booking enquiries
- Ticketing and listings
- Using online and social media promotion techniques to research audiences and market effectively
- Organising promotional materials for events, including writing press releases and organising interviews and airtime for the artists. (Radio, press and online)
