About me
I am a recent graduate (2020) of international development at kings college London, currently working as a researcher at the university of Bedfordshire on projects involving widening access to higher education for disadvantaged groups. Whilst I am very passionate about racial inequality and sustainability issues (hence the focus of my degree), I would ideally like to make an early career switch into the fashion industry.
I have always been passionate about the luxury fashion sector, and believe I could bring my sensitivity to the likes of social inequalities/sustainability to the sector to make a positive impact. I worked as a shop floor assistant and stylist with AllSaints during my studies, and would love to build up some further experience working in an internship capacity ideally in fashion styling or creative direction. I am very open to unpaid opportunities that would enable me to develop valuable experience early on in my career transition journey.
