Temporary work as Team Assistant/Secretary, providing full secretarial support for the office which covered sales, lettings and property management.
Sole charge of three children - twin boys of 9 years, and a daughter aged 12. Assisting family as Personal Assistant whilst providing educationally focused support and developmentally appropriate activities during term time and school holidays for the children.
Marketing and Sales, Managing all aspects of developing the new business. This included website design, creating marketing material, expanding social media presence, running stands at major events and trade shows, administration and accounts.
Managing the two roles has required the prioritisation of tasks and delegation where necessary, as well as possessing polished verbal and written communication, and a real ability to operate effectively and remain calm in stressful situations. These traits, coupled with a healthy motivation, confidence and judgement, enable a significant ability to work with all levels of an organisation and create trust across departments. Working in this busy office environment has incorporated multiple responsibilities, including liaising with staff, suppliers and clients, co-ordinating and managing the MD’s personal affairs and travel, handling all expenses in relation to the MD, producing complex itineraries and packs in support of meetings and travel, and implementing new methods of organisation within the office. I have reduced costs by consolidating operations and negotiating competitive rates with service providers whilst preparing purchase orders to ensure client budgets were kept and managed accordingly. I am adept at research and providing meeting support, as well as document, report, and presentation development; deadlines are met.
