- Migrant PuppetsIn this project I worked together with SOLA ARTS ,a community arts project mainly working with refugees and asylum seekers, based in Liverpool. With two participants of the project I wrote down their personal stories about their journeys from their home countries to the UK. Incorperating their emotions they went through to how they see and feel themselves today within the UK. - Food, Design and PlayWithin this project I experimented with the transferring of making techniques and food cultures. I discovered similarities and transferable techniques within baking, confisserie and ceramics which I used to make my icing teacups and the ceramic pieces. My processes used are as much about play and experimentation with techniques as well as decorating and finshing of the cups. The inter relations between different food cultures are shown through making of the ceramic banana leaf and my moroccan terracotta serving dish. I was inspired from observing other eating cultures and cooking methods.
