Fashion Illustrator holding a BA(Hons) degree in Fashion Illustration from The University of the Arts, London College of Fashion. Looking to secure an illustrator position in which I would be able to utilise and develop my current creative illustration skills. Freelance Retoucher, Diamond Wright |September 2015 to present Employed as a retoucher at Diamond Wright on a freelance basis, with key responsibilities including, file management, image selection and skin/background retouching for given campaigns. High profile campaigns that I have worked on include Impulse Body Spray, featuring Charlie XCX and Boohoo’s online clothing campaign and e-commerce imagery. This role has required time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines for clients with a fast turnover of website and campaign imagery.
Specialising within the accessories department, building trend led creative displays and creating colour and trend stories across the department with given product. Keeping up to date with visual guideline updates and communicating these to the team. Reviewing sales data to determine the most successful and commercial trends and using this information to inform my visual approach in order to optimize sales. I’m currently working towards becoming a supervisor, this involves me running the shop floor in terms of visual coherence and ensuring that the brand's identity is represented in terms of creative displays. I aim to inspire and motivate team members in their approach to visual guidelines, delegating specific jobs whilst reacting to peak trade by prioritising service on the shop floor.
Employed as the Illustrator and Graphic Designer for Converse Creative SS16 Sneaker Campaign: Creating illustrations to go over final campaign images, as well as creating the SS16 'Converse x OFFICE' logo in my own illustrative style. These designs will be in Office windows and to be used on the in-store fixtures as well as used on limited edition T-shirts and bags. Also creating illustrations to go over a 90 second behind the scenes footage. This role requires concept development alongside my illustrative, graphic and retouching abilities in order to manage a project from start to finish in a time scale provided.
Commissioned by NYLON to create a graphic illustration to celebrate the 12th Anniversary of NYLON Japan, which is relevant to the magazine's ethos and demographic. This role required concept development, clear communication between myself and the senior editor of NYLON Japan, alongside my illustrative, graphic and retouching skills in order to manage this project from start to finish in the small time scale that was provided. This graphic illustration will be represented in NYLON Japan's exclusive 12th Anniversary magazine.
Little Mistress UK | November- December 2015 Commissioned by Little Mistress UK to create an illustrated editorial feature for their brand ‘Girls on Film’ – displaying campaign imagery produced through my own artistic interpretation. The brand conducted an interview with me to go alongside a blog feature showcasing my work.
Things and Ink Independent Tattoo Magazine | July 2015 Commissioned for an online feature for Things and Ink Magazine. My work comprised of a series of four illustrations interpreting their magazine covers, all promoting their individual brand image.
