Projects
  • Shu Life
Shu LifeShu Life was a student magazine that was printed three times in the year and had regular web content up featuring reviews and articles on fashion, films, music, health and lifestyle. I was the music editor for the website. I had to organise press passes, arrange interviews with bands and promote articles on Twitter and Facebook. I had to meet deadlines and ensure that I had enough content for the print magazine and that the website was regularly updated.
  • H Magazine
H MagazineH Magazine isa magazine that I co-edited. I set deadlines for the sub editors, I edited their work, sorted out press passes, uploaded content to the website and designed the print version. It's a magazine that produces content on news, music, fashion, lifestyle, film and technology to students around Sheffield Hallam University.

Work history
    Sales Assistant
I worked within a team on the chilled department were I replenish stock, keep the store tidy and help customers with any queries. I also do overtime on produce, mark downs and home shopping departments. In order to do this I had to learn quickly how to operate devices such as telson guns, in order to complete the task at hand.
    NME Student Ambassador

As a student ambassador I have to engage with students on campus, promote the magazine and maintain a steady flow of interest in the magazine.

     -
I studied journalism which was very practical with tutors expecting us to go out into the field, engage with people, find interesting and unique stories and then report on them.
