I have 5 years industry experienced in events, marketing and communications. My experience ranges from conferences to catwalks, product launches, private views, art fairs, auctions and First Thursday. Liaising between different departments, suppliers and other stakeholders has enabled me to develop my communication and leadership skills. I am a great believe of Kaizen which means continual improvement, i myself would love to learn more in a supportive environment.
• Providing general admin support to the events department. • Maintaining the events database, logging any enquires, and new business. • Updating the events portfolio. • Taking the minutes from the weekly events meeting to the other department. • Taking new enquires via the telephone, email and the website. • Updating the events diary, scheduling meetings internal and external. • Creating table plans, place names and any other support material for events needed. • Liaising with other department to ensure the smooth running of the day to day conference that are booked in. • Working alongside the Head of Events to make sure that any briefs are met a high standard. • Selling the different function spaces in different capacities. • Confirming and securing payment prior to any event and providing the necessary paperwork. • Communicating with the kitchen to ensure refreshments are sorted and providing a time for these. • Client meet and greets
In this role I was supporting the General Manager . Replying to emails and telephone enquires. Helping to maintain the CRM and updating our events portfolio. I would also maintain our relationship with in the community and with local businesses. •Assist in growing and maximising pre-booked sales. •Work to pre-determined targets as set by the GM maximising all opportunities to achieve these. •Maintains exceptional customer service and provides the highest of standards for the customer. experience via the telephone and face to face within venue operating hours. •Continually build and validate a database of contacts via data collection & viewings. •Maintaining a high level of customer service. •Create and delivery sales plans designed around focus areas of the business. •Arrange and conduct guest meetings to promote the venue. •Organise and execute showcase events ensuring attendance of key customers such as event bookers. •Onsite event management and execution
