Interactive Theatre International is a small company with huge ambitions, and since it started in 1997 they have set up a successful West End residency, put on shows in almost every continent (we visited twenty countries in 2015 alone) and visited festivals around the globe. Duties included: • Managing the marketing team (four members of staff) • Developing and executing marketing plans and budgets for theatre shows such as Faulty Towers The Dining Experience and The Wedding Reception • Briefing and signing off all content such as artwork and promotional videos
In 2014 I became the first Sales & Marketing Manager at Southwark Playhouse. It was a challenging time to join the organisation because budgets were limited and they had recently moved to a new home and taken on performance spaces with larger capacities. Duties included: • Developing and managing the in-house box office, POS and agency ticket sales • Analysing existing audience data and carrying out market research to retain their current audience and build new audiences • Based on collected data, develop and execute marketing strategies for the company including: A) In house theatr e productions B) Y outh and community projects C) The commercial bar & food offering • Developing and managing the basic marketing package offered to visiting companies and advising and assisting them in developing their own marketing strategies • Jointly responsible for managing the Box Office team
