My role at Apple offers me the experience of working in a busy, demanding and rewarding retail environment. My time in this part-time position has resulted in me being personally responsible for sales of over £900,000. I strive to exceed by up selling targets with results that were well above the store average. The role demands that I work effectively as part of a large team in order to provide a smooth customer journey. This involved partnering with various departments within the store to help customers access the support or information that they needed. I manage an appointment system to ensure that customers were seen quickly and on-time. I am always aware of intense time pressures and pro-active in preventing the team from falling behind and in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Spearheaded a project to launch Gudog in the UK, a company that puts in contact dog owners with dog carers. My role was to maximise the number of pet carers on the UK database. I created and managed all social media accounts for the UK branch, as well as writing articles for the website. I translated the entire website from Spanish to English, also translating any contracts and means of communication for future and past clients. I was heavily involved in working with an external agency to design the UK logo, slogans and t-shirts. Duties also include general office admin such as chairing meetings, organising travel and completing monthly audit and finance reporting.
I was mostly in charge of organising trips between groups of students and external companies. We worked with a variety of age groups from all over the world. Planning, composure, organisation and ability to maintain discipline were key, as was the ability to multi task managing various accounts at a time. Whilst in the role, I had responsibility for organising social nights in the Madrid area, and working closely with the local hotels to maintain the flow of clients in between us and them.?
