Hello my name is Katy, I am ambitious 3D Artist based in Milton Keynes. I am currently looking to find some potential work in the creative sector to widen my career prospects as I am hoping to move to London. I am looking for a role where I can learn and develop with the company not just on my own. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment where there is a lot going on! My specialism is in visualization, creating computer generated walkthroughs of modern interiors/exteriors. I am proficient with using software’s such as Maya, 3Ds Max, Vray, Indesign, Photoshop and After Effects. I believe that with my creative flair and work experience, I can be a significant member of your team. Apart from Visualisation, I can create promo materials for businesses such as banners, flyers, business cards and basic web design using Wordpress and Wix. I am proficient with using social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, G+, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest as I use them all on a daily basis. I am also competent with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. I am also an aspiring entrepreneur, having my own business in the beauty, health and wellbeing industry. Learning new skills and taking on challenges is what motivates me to become the best I can be. I am available to start immediately. "Success at anything will always come down to Focus and Effort and we control both"
A family run business, it has taught me to be reliable, a good team worker and an organised individual. This is where I developed skills with customer service to an exceptional level as I have always dealt with many different types of customers. My main responsibilities were: • Assisting customers to their tables • Preparing drinks • Clearing and setting up tables • Washing up and drying cutlery • Taking orders by phone/in person • Serving food • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment My years of working as a waitress have given me valuable life skills that I use to this present day. These would include the ability to work under pressure, being able to communicate and work effectively in a team, multi-tasking and provide exceptional customer service.
Working as a showroom demonstrator in Milton Keynes. My duties were: • welcome customers in the showroom • provide them information about our kitchen, bedroom and bathroom ranges • arrange design appointments to potential clients • attend weekly meetings with the marketing manager • making sure the showroom is clean and tidy At Betta Living, I regularly reach my weekly targets and was voted top sales person
While at University, I was fortunate enough to get a work placement for a construction site that was building new flats and student hubs around my university. Some of my responsibilities include: • Taking meeting minutes • Reading architectural plans, making sure they were the right drawings. • Updating online databases • Responding to queries • Creating project meeting documents While working here, I learnt a great deal of how different sectors of the company work as a team. I learnt how to read drawing’s, respond and write clearly to design managers, using my own initiative to get the things done, organising files on the online database and proof reading reports for project meetings.
Working for an events company I helped them redesign their website, branding and creation of promotional materials for their upcoming events.
I work in a small team preparing drink ingredients into bottles ready to be shipped out to businesses. I was also hired as their creative for product design and as a 3D visualizer. My main responsibilities were: • Putting ingredients into bottles • Securing bottles and labelling them • Placing bottles in boxes ready to be shipped out • Creating Concepts for their products • Producing 3D visuals for the products I learnt to multi task under pressure, meeting daily objectives, working without supervision, ensuring health and safety are being met at all times. Working alongside my manager with the product design, it allowed me to uncover my creative potential and producing designs that were rewarding to my skillset.
