In the Training Department at Campden BRI, I work closely with key clients and our subject matter experts to develop tailored technical training for food and drink businesses across the globe. We create bespoke training courses to help businesses develop knowledge in areas such as Food Safety and Quality, Food Microbiology, Sensory Evaluation and Legislation.
Where needed, I also do the Event Administration for courses and events. We have recently introduced remote online training as an alternative to face-to face training, adapting to the changing work environments and I help with the facilitation of the courses. We use Webex as our training platform and I help with the set up and administration.
I participate in Sensory Triangle Testing for the Campden BRI Consumer and Sensory Science department. This involves taste testing samples and distinguishing which sample is different.

I joined Campden BRI in the Cereals, Milling and Bakery department. Whilst in the department I helped with product development, working on recipe development and creating taste panels to identify consumer feedback. I performed product and quality tests, including shelf life tests (water activity and moisture content). We offered training to clients within the industry and I helped with the practical elements of the courses.
