Tracking Twitter conversation, the role of Data Specialist meant covering a number of markets within the UK. UK Data Lead for Film, Sales and Events as well as the UK TV Targeting Team Member. The role required research and keeping on top of global Film Releases and all UK TV news and storylines. Also identifying keywords in order to collect high quality data for analysis and interpretation, and using internal software for data manipulation. Constantly in communication with a number of different teams within the company such as Sales, Media, Research and Engineering. One of the managers of the Official UK Twitter TV account and supported various social media campaigns.
Member of the Editorial Team. Main responsibilities were researching TV shows/events, blogging and tweeting in order to capture online conversation as effectively as possible. The role focused mainly on Drama and Entertainment programmes and gave the opportunity to regularly contribute articles to external industry publications such as Radio Times and BroadcastNow. SecondSync, one of the South West’s most successful start-up companies, was eventually acquired by Twitter in April 2014.
