About me
"In an unstitched society suffering from a long lasting crisis that has made humans ferociously protective and arrogantly egocentric, it is time for mending and gathering, restoring the fabric of society, picking up the pieces and bringing them together in a patchwork of possibilities, a quilt of substance, able to absorb shock” (Edelkoort, 2015). Edelkoort’s words are a perfect summation of the attitude all designers and creatives should be adapting in the present and continuing on into the future. My personal design codes have the same ethical positioning. I believe we live in a world, where there is currently so many issues, that design can’t be without a meaningful, conscious and pro-active nature. All design must be functional as a given, but now more than ever design should serve a greater cause, whether this be in a social, political, or environmental light.

    Assistant ManagerGorman
     - Melbourne, AustraliaFull Time
Assistant Manager of the Gorman Chadstone flagship store. Assistant Manager responsibilities include hiring and training staff, monitoring stock levels and ordering merchandise based on demand, as well as store administration, managing and working to achieve budgets. The role also included forging strong relationships with customers and using customer service skills to build rapport and make sales. Gorman is a widely known and respected Australian label. In 1999, Lisa Gorman launched her eponymous label at fledgling boutique fat52 in Fitzroy, Melbourne, with a collection titled 'less than 12 degrees'. The instant success of that first offering was the beginning of something special, and in the years that have followed the gorman label has become an iconic part of the Australian fashion landscape.
